CareUse Instructions for Fiddle Bow Knife with Stainless Steel Blade:

**This knife is extremely sharp, and caution should be used when handling**

Cleaning:
•After each use, clean the blade with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth.

•Avoid abrasive pads or brushes that could scratch the stainless-steel surface.

•Allow the knife to dry completely.

Handle Care:
•This knife has a wooden handle. Clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap.

•Avoid soaking the handle in water.

•Treat wooden handles with a small amount of wood conditioner, mineral oil, or board butter to maintain their integrity and prevent cracking.

Blade Care:
•The stainless-steel blade requires minimal maintenance and is rust-resistant. However, its sharpness will naturally diminish over time, typically lasting between 5 to 10 years, depending on usage.

Storage:
•Every knife comes with a blade cover, and we suggest using it at your discretion.

•Regardless of whether the blade cover is used, it's essential to store each knife in a secure location to prevent unwanted access or accidental contact.

Safe Handling:
•Always use a cutting board made of a soft material, such as wood or a soft plastic, to avoid damaging the blade.

•To preserve the sharpness of the blade, use wooden cutting boards.

•Using cutting boards made from material other than wood is discouraged, as they can dull the knife and may introduce undesirable materials into your food.

•Do not use the knife for tasks that it is not designed for, such as prying, twisting or hammering, as this can lead to damage.

Using Your Knife
•Avoid pushing the knife; instead, use long, back-and-forth strokes without applying excessive force.

•When cutting denser vegetables, increase your pace while maintaining the motion; however, refrain from pushing.

Regular Inspection:
•Periodically inspect the knife for any signs of damage, loose components, or wear.

•If you notice any issues, address them promptly to prevent further damage and ensure the longevity of your fiddle bow knife.

By following these care instructions, you can maintain the quality and functionality of your fiddle bow knife with a stainless-steel blade for years to come.
